Data Center Services
The ITS Data Center provides services that include cabinets, cables, power distribution, UPS, N+1 redundant HVAC, physical security, fire suppression and a natural gas backup generator.
The ITS Data Center has a limited data center capacity. All server hosting requests go though a review and approval process to provide the customers with the most energy efficient option for hosting. Virtual Servers, with the following specifications, are available to be created for faculty and staff with hosting needs.

$100 per extra CPU
$50 per extra 1GB of memory

Data Service
For new data services requests, individuals may call the Service Desk at 918-444-5678, email help@nsuok.edu, or visit the Service Desk counter in the 1st floor lobby of the Webb building to place a work order. All new data service requests must have an associated approval memo from the Account Sponsor that includes, work order number and account number to be charged. Please send this memo to the Director of Client Services.
Small cabling project, less than 7 drops, will be performed by ITS staff.
Large cabling projects, 7 drops or more, will be performed by cabling contractor and managed by ITS staff.

Network Services
ITS provides wired network services to NSU faculty, staff, students, and visitors. Network connections can vary from 10/100/1000 megabit/sec depending on building infrastructure and availability.
Network Storage
All faculty, staff, and students have a 750Mb home directory (L: Drive). Users can request additional storage space on their L: drive by entering a work order. To place a work order, individuals may call the Service Desk at 918-444-5678, email help@nsuok.edu, or visit the Service Desk counter in the 1st floor lobby of the Webb building

University Virtual Private Network
The University VPN service provides access to the NSU network from off campus. The VPN service can also be used when using the NSU Wireless network.
NSU VPN supports two different clients
Cisco SSL web portal
Cisco AnyConnect
NSU VPN provides access to the following internal resources

L: Drive - personal storage
I: Drive-shared faculty storage
J: Drive-applications for faculty/staff
K: Drive-applications for students
M: Drive-departmental storage
Osage (AnyConnect only)
Available to NSU faculty, staff, students, and visitors with NSU computer access.
Wireless Network
“NSUWireless” is a wireless network accessible to students, staff, and faculty. NSU Wireless is available in all classroom buildings as well as the Administration building on the Tahlequah campus and the Seminary Suites club house.
“NSUWireless” is NOT encrypted. Information sent or received can be intercepted by anyone connected to this wireless network. Access to internal resources is provided by NSU VPN
